There are two types of water in Vietnam where I life and work: fresh water and boiled water. All the water used for cooking or drinking needs to be boiled. This is my first time in Europe, and I have a deep impression of the tap water in the Netherlands. To me, it is so beautiful that everyone shares the same water. I feel insecure about that scene somehow, therefore I made a performance wearing a security uniform that is common in Vietnam holding a sign.

I was wearing the uniform, standing next to the tap water in the Noorderplantsoen during Noorderzon. I was standing still, holding a sign written in Vietnamese “DO NOT USE THE WATER HERE".
